GRASS HOPPERS’ GRINCHMAS PARTIES RAISED OVER £2,000 FOR OUR CHARITY OF THE YEAR
The Grass Hoppers teams at Tong and Tingley Garden Centres are celebrating after the ‘Grinchmas’ playtime parties that they hosted two in their respective Grass Hoppers soft play centres raised over £2,000 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The parties included play time, a meet and greet with the Grinch and his elves, access to the disco room, food and a toy of the child’s choice.
“We’re really pleased that the contribution of these unique party sessions has increased the total to £16,860 of our fundraising target for the year,” said Caroline Ellis, Group Play Manager.
“Thank you to RMS Toys, Padgetts Toys, Potts Bakery and Atlantic Workwear for their generous donations that meant that we had more money to donate to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.”
Through a series of fund-raising events and collection boxes at the tills of all four Yorkshire Garden Centre sites, we hope to raise £19,000 for the independent charity that relies solely on the donations of individuals and organisations to provide its lifesaving rapid response emergency service to five million people throughout Yorkshire.
